Filmmaker Eden Batki is directing a Thank You Rosekind music video exploring the world of laughter yoga. Laughter yoga is a practice adopted in the mid 1990's by Dr. Madan Kataria, a Physician from Mumbai, India. This practice has since spread internationally. In 2010 Eden began her photographing laughter club sessions throughout the Los Angeles. She plans to continue this body of work through this video project.

Two artist performance groups, longtime friends and collaborators Little Band of Sailors and Thank You Rosekind join forces once again to embark on a summer musical tour. New York based Rachel Mason (aka Little Band of Sailors) has been described as "Marvelously Strange" by the Village Voice (Jerry Salz) and "Alice Cooper meets Carol King in another dimension" (Chris Carlone of Borts Minorts) . Mason will perform songs from the recently released "Code Flight," a collection of music based on her personal experience as a recreational therapist in New York.
May 5th, 2011: Thank You Rosekind and Lycaon Pictus at Issue Project Room. 232 3rd Street, 3rd Floor Brooklyn, NY 11215, 8pm. Art-punk band Lycaon Pictus recalls “the apocalypse imagined by Pere Ubu,” (New York Times). Their keyboard/bass/drums trio combines drones and heavy synthesizers with dark humor. Thank You Rosekind will play selections from their forthcoming album ATTENTION INTENTION! They express various forms of thanks through song, dance, action and the visual spectrum.
