Initiated in 2005, The New New School exists as a grassroots pedagogical experiment. Started with an essay by Michael G. Bauer, it developed into a performance at Dangerous Curve in 2004. Public Events hosted by New New School included: "Quit Art, Calarts," "New New School School Night," and the "New New School Summer Intensive." Projects included: The Sugar Shack, a temporary structure used for meeting at Elysian Park, Los Angeles, and Experimental Readers, a series of readings collated and distributed to participants. Co-Founders included Dawn Kasper, Michael G. Bauer, Jen Kolmel, Ellen Huang and David Stromberg.
