The World's Open House is a platform dedicated to facilitating artistic bridges throughout the world. This project was initiated in 2008 at InCUBUBATE in Chicago. The simple goal of the project was to create an artistic bridge between artists in Los Angeles and Chicago. This involved launching a series of collaborative projects, including WOH Radio: The World's Open House, Bridge of Artistic Goodwill Radio Show, The Cold Call Friendly Phonebook and The Interstate Media Box. WOH Radio existed as a series of playful interstate performances, which took place over the phone using a conference calling service called Talkshoe. The Cold Call Friendly Phonebook operated as a prompt for participants to contribute their friends' names and numbers to a zine. The goal was for participants to use the zine and call people for impromptu and unsolicited conversations. Lastly, the Interstate Media Box was a traveling box of ephemera and books, which traveled throughout Chicago and Los Angeles creating purposed interaction.
